Parks & Recreation
The Yadkin County Parks and Recreation Department was established in 1972 with the goal of providing activities, events, and facilities to meet the needs of the people of Yadkin County.
Today the Parks and Recreation Department has grown to include 4 unique parks and a blueway with three river access points. Future planning for parks and trails continues to be a priority. Yadkin County Parks and Recreation is pleased to again partner with The North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission and host a Youth Fishing Day at the Yadkin County Park Pond. This event is Free and rods, reels, and bait will be provided to kids 15 and under. If you have any questions please call the park office at (336)-849-7909.

New Hours starting May 1st. We open at 6:30 am and close at 8:30 PM.
Season Boat Passes are now on sale at Yadkin Memorial Park!
- Yadkin County Resident Pricing $25 per vessel
- Non-County Resident Pricing $45 per vessel
These boat passes allow you unlimited boat launches from the time of purchase through June 30, 2019!
Vessel Rental Information
The last available time to rent vessels (Single, double, and fishing kayaks or Jon boats) at Yadkin Memorial Park is 1 hour and 30 minutes prior to closing. Rent is hourly and vessels are required to be off the water 30 minutes prior to closing.
