The mission of the Yadkin County Information Technology Department is to provide innovative, reliable, resilient, secure, environmentally sound, and cost effective technologies and technology strategies to enable all departments and organizational staff to deliver excellent citizen service.

Programs and Services:

Information Technology Support - Our systems are designed to provide efficient delivery of information resources to the employees of Yadkin County while maintaing a secure environment for data integrity, accessibility and system availability. The list below details our daily support duties.  

•Ensuring all staff members have access to efficient and effective technology

•Provisioning and supporting staff computers

•Provisioning and maintaining servers

•Supporting Data and Voice  Networking Equipment

•Provisioning and maintaining county-wide VOIP Phone System

•Supporting staff members Cell Phones and PDA Devices 

•Protecting and preserving Yadkin County's Digital Data

•Establishing security and best practice policies for Yadkin County computing

Information Technology Procurement-The IT department will gather quotes, make recommendations and assist with the RFP process for any and all IT related expenditures.
