Our office issues all permits pertaining to new construction for the county as well as all the towns within the county. This includes building, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, insulation, sprinklers and day care. After permits are issued we then follow up with inspections to see that the structures are built according to the plans submitted to our office and by State Codes. If the structure is not up to code we advise about what is needed to meet state requirements.
