New technology and a progressive outlook is helping Yadkin County E-911 Addressing to have one of the most comprehensive addressing systems in the State. Aided by ArcInfo, ArcPad, and GPS, we will have an accurate and functional addressing system without having to re-address the entire County. In the near future this system will tie in with the E-911 dispatch area at the Sheriffs Department and the Land Records Department to provide accurate maps, directions and structure locations for fast response times. Pinpointing cell towers will help provide location points for emergency calls via enhanced E-911 Wireless.

Remember, we're putting the county in the computer system one road and home at a time and your address may change, but a little change now is better than not being able to find you when you need us most.
