Parks & Recreation

The Yadkin County Parks and Recreation Department was established in 1972 with the goal of providing activities, events, and facilities to meet the needs of the people in Yadkin County.

Today the Parks and Recreation Department has grown to include 4 unique parks and a blue-way with three river access points. Future planning for parks and trails continues to be a priority. Department News: Yadkin Memorial Park News 

Yadkin Memorial Park will be closed 11/24/2021 for Thanksgiving and 12/24/2021-12/26/2021 for Christmas. The George Sappenfield Disc Golf course will be open 12/26/2021
