The Yadkin County Parks and Recreation Department was established in 1972 to provide activities, events, and facilities to meet the needs of the citizens in Yadkin County.

Today, the Parks and Recreation Department has grown to include four unique parks and a blueway with three river access points. Future planning for parks and trails continues to be a priority.

Department News: Yadkin County Park 

Ballfield 1 at the Yadkin County Park is currently getting new outfield lighting installed. The new lighting project should be complete within the coming months.

County Pool Hours:

Opening Memorial weekend (Saturday, May27th) through Labor Day weekend (Monday,  September 4th)

Hours of Operation: 

• Mondays - Saturdays 11 am - 5 pm 
• Sundays 1 pm - 6 pm
• Nigh Swim Tuesday 7 pm - 9 pm
