Parks & Recreation

The Yadkin County Parks and Recreation Department was established in 1972 with the goal of providing activities, events, and facilities to meet the needs of the people in Yadkin County.

Today the Parks and Recreation Department has grown to include 4 unique parks and a blue-way with three river access points. Future planning for parks and trails continues to be a priority. ** Yadkin Memorial Park will be closed until 12:30 PM on the following dates for Duck Hunting:

January 9, 13, 16, 18, 20, 23, 27, 30

February 6, 13 (Youth only)** 

All County Parks and Recreation Playgrounds will re-open Friday, September 4th.

Season Boat Passes for sale. These boat passes allow you unlimited boat launches from the time of purchase through June 30, 2020!

  • Non-County Resident Pricing $45 per vessel

Vessel Rental Information

The last available time to rent vessels (Single, double, and fishing kayaks or Jon boats) at Yadkin Memorial Park is 1 hour and 30 minutes prior to closing. Rent is hourly and vessels are required to be off the water 30 minutes prior to closing.
