Parks & Recreation

The Yadkin County Parks and Recreation Department was established in 1972 with the goal of providing activities, events, and facilities to meet the needs of the people of Yadkin County.

Today the Parks and Recreation Department has grown to include 4 unique parks and a blueway with three river access points. Future planning for parks and trails continues to be a priority. Yadkin County Park News 

     Yadkin Memorial Park and Lake Hampton                     will be closing at 7pm on July 4th.  

The Yadkin County Pool is closed until further notice due to electrical pump motor failure. We are working to resolve this issue as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Season Boat Passes are now on sale at Yadkin Memorial Park!

  • Yadkin County Resident Pricing $25 per vessel
  • Non-County Resident Pricing $45 per vessel

These boat passes allow you unlimited boat launches from the time of purchase through June 30, 2020!

Vessel Rental Information

The last available time to rent vessels (Single, double, and fishing kayaks or Jon boats) at Yadkin Memorial Park is 1 hour and 30 minutes prior to closing. Rent is hourly and vessels are required to be off the water 30 minutes prior to closing.
