The Patrol Division serves several purposes. Answering and responding to 911 calls, proactive patrol to deter criminal activity, service of arrest warrants as well as other criminal processes, traffic enforcement, security checks of local businesses as well as residential communities and investigation misdemeanor offenses. Patrol is the most visible part of the Sheriff's Office, your first impression if you will. Our deputies take a community policing approach to law enforcement.
The Patrol Division operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year. In an effort to control response times and keep them to a minimum, Deputies are assigned by three primary patrol areas – Center, East and West. The patrol area structure creates an effective delivery of patrol services.
