“Yadkin County Board of Commissioners after action Report for June 19, 2023”
During the June 19, 2023 Board meeting, the Yadkin County Board of Commissioners took the following action:
- Approved rezoning a property on Burgess Rd. from Manufactured Industrial One (MI-1) to Rural Agriculture (RA)
- Authorized the submission of a grant application by the Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office for the Patrick Leahy Bulletproof Vest Partnership Grant.
- Rescinded a previously approved pay stipend for Law Enforcement K9 Handlers.
During her Manager’s report, Lisa Hughes requested approval of a resolution in support of the NC Department of Commerce Building Re-Use Grant for Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, requested an update to clothing allowances for two positions at the Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office, requested corrections to the classification and pay plan, and updated the Board on options for construction and renovation of EMS outposts.
