The number of Yadkin County children coming into foster care because of abuse and neglect at home is rising every year. In April, Child Abuse Prevention Month, we shine a spotlight on that awful fact.
Please join us at 9 am, April 4, 2019, as we observe 90 Seconds of Silence in recognition of the 90 abused and neglected children in Yadkin last year. We’ll meet on the lawn of the Yadkin County Courthouse just prior to 9 am.
If you can’t get there, we encourage your workplace, office, or classroom to participate in marking the 90 seconds for our children… then talk about what you can do to help. Please pass this information along to anyone you know. We would like a good turnout to support the children of Yadkin County.
